Product Details

Crafted for Precision

Each brush is built with a clear acrylic handle for a lightweight, comfortable grip, and a rust-resistant aluminum ferrule for a secure, wobble-free hold. Bristle lengths are 5mm, 7mm, 9mm, 11mm, and 13mm respectively, giving each brush in the set its own precise line weight — from ultra-fine hairline work to longer, flowing strokes. Total length is approximately 170mm.
Made for Fine Line & Detail Work

This liner brush is designed for the exacting demands of thangka painting — the long, unbroken outlines, delicate cloud patterns, and fine gold detailing that define Tibetan Buddhist art. The same qualities also make it a favorite for miniature and model painting, pinstriping, calligraphy, and any project where a steady, needle-fine line matters. The bristles hold their shape and snap back to a sharp point with every stroke, so your line stays consistent from the first brush to the last.

Care & Maintenance

Before first use, soak the tip in clean water for 3–5 minutes, then gently work the bristles apart with your fingertips, stroking along the direction of the hair — never against it. Always wet the brush before dipping it into ink or paint; using it dry can bend or fray the tip. After each use, rinse the tip gently and dry it thoroughly before putting the brush away. The handle is made from natural bamboo, so avoid soaking it for long periods or leaving it under direct sunlight for extended time — bamboo absorbs moisture easily and can warp or crack from prolonged dampness or sun exposure.
